Meet Your Host: Miranda

Aloha! I’m Miranda — your personal host and guide for a day of discovery, connection, and pure Maui magic.

For over 28 years, I’ve been exploring the hidden treasures of this island I’m blessed to call home. With a background in Wildlife Biology, I’ve spent more than two decades working as a Naturalist and Educator with respected organizations like the Hawai‘i Nature Center, Pacific Whale Foundation, and Maui Ocean Center.

I’ve led hikes for The Nature Conservancy of Maui and the Sierra Club, and I’ve put in countless volunteer hours with local conservation efforts, including the Coastal Land Trust, Auwahi Reforestation Project, and the Hawksbill Sea Turtle Recovery Program with Hawai‘i Wildlife Fund. Treasuring Maui’s environment is close to my heart — and sharing its beauty and magic is my life’s passion.

In addition to my work in nature education, I’m also trained in Reiki and Quantum Healing, and I often incorporate elements of guided meditation for guests who are seeking a deeper spiritual connection to this land.

Whether you’re looking for a soulful, grounding experience or just a fun, enlightening jungle adventure, I’m here to help you feel the spirit of Maui — not just see it.

After years of informally guiding friends and visitors through Maui’s most magical places, I decided to turn my passion into a business. Today, I get to share what I love most: the peace, beauty, and renewal that this very special place can offer.

I’m First Aid/CPR certified and committed to your safety and comfort every step of the way.

If you like waterfalls and hiking, don’t miss this adventure. Miranda takes you to a magical place that tourists don’t go to. It is absolutely stunning! You get to play in some waterfalls. Miranda makes sure you are very safe. She also takes all the pictures so you don’t have to worry about your camera. She treats you like family. If your in Maui, put this on your must do list!!! If I could give Miranda more than 5 stars I would.

We’re a family of four, two kids in their 20s, and we like to hike. Miranda was the sweetest, friendliest, most considerate guide. The waterfall was breathtaking and it was an extra bonus that Miranda shared her love of nature and her incredible knowledge of plants and trees with us. Miranda is a Maui local that is very connected to the island! She brought us to a secluded waterfall so we had the waterfall and fresh water pool to ourselves! While we were immersed in the experience she was cognizant to take great photos of us! Fortunately her schedule was flexible and we extend our time with her to enjoy her company!!! Definitely make this experience a part of your trip to Maui! Miranda is amazing and you will love your time with her! She knows all of the best spots and will take you off the beaten path and away from the crowds and tourists. She is also just an awesome and kind person, taking the time to connect with my kids (17 and 20) as well. We had so much fun hiking and swimming in the waterfall and will definitely do another experience with Miranda next time we are on Maui.
